Hi Julie I love your post about Evyn and your featherweight. I don’t know how to post comments, so I’ll relay the following directly to you... I was painting a bedroom and left the room “for a second”. My 2 year old son grabbed the paintbrush and began painting my beautiful antique pie safe. My heart literally sank when I walked back into the room. My little guy turned and looked at me with the biggest smile on that little face - so proud of what he had accomplished. No way could I get mad! Instead, I took a deep breath, picked up a couple rags and said “hey, buddy - wanna help mommy smear some of the paint”? 40 years later and I still smile whenever I walk past that “whitewashed” pie safe. ❤️Maggie
